Suncatcher

Fun and colorful (and easy) suncatchers.

Materials Needed:

  • Contact Paper (precut semi-circle and heart)
  • Tissue paper

Instructions:

  1. Cut up strips of the tissue paper and have child rip them up into small pieces. They can also use scissors and cut them up small.
  2. Remove white backing paper from contact paper and it will lay flat on table. The backing paper might be challenging to remove so have an adult do it.
  3. Cover all sticky parts with the ripped up tissue paper.
  4. OPTIONAL: After it is all covered you can trim around edge for a smooth finish

Keep ripped up tissue paper for other (tissue paper related) projects. We like to store it in a ziplock bag or envelop.

If you want to hang in window… you can make a small hole and use some yarn to create a hanger.
